>>>Fast Forward

Since early Summer in Chicago my world has shifted a lot. Long due update, but after a June and July of moving to Fort Worth, Texas to begin my new tenure track position at Texas Christian University the dust has settled (and flow back up) a bit. Teaching full time, Painting, Drawing and a Senior Art Exhibitions class is fantastic. It can be long days but I'm thankfully getting lots of studio time as well. A necessity for my sanity but also because I have a solo exhibition at TCU (an introduction of sorts) in October (14th-31st) and also another show coming up at University of Wisconsin in early December (which I'm hoping to incorporate a screen print and 3-d printing, flexing my new found TCU facilities a little). Packets for tenure track, arrangements for CAA in Chicago, Spring Schedules, lots of great events / visiting artists at the Museums here in Fort Worth (Modern, Kimball and Amon Carter), summer grants and lots of teaching loom. But busy is good. Here are a couple of paintings that will be in my October show, working title "Volumes,Voids and Vectors".
