When it rains, it pours! Awards, Collections and other good news!
Don't want to get too self-promoting
here but I thought I would do a round-up
on a few exciting items:
1. 2008 Efroymson Fund Emerging Graduate Artist Award
Sunday I won the 'best in show' award for
the MFA thesis show here at Notre Dame's
Snite Museum of Art.

2. Microsoft Art Collection
The Microsoft Art Collection has chosen two
pieces from my Anti-Discovery series, Silence
and Expanse to add to there ever-expanding art collection,
which is hung through out the corporation's offices and buildings.

3. SBRMA Permanent Collection
The South Bend Regional Museum of Art has chosen
The, a 5 foot by 15 foot triptych, to add to their
permanent collection.The was included in my recent
exhibition, Surface, at the museum.

4. Vermont Studio Center Residency Program
I received news yesterday that I will have
the opportunity to do an Artist Residency
at the Vermont Studio Center. The VSC is
a well-known residency program, one of the
largest in the country. I will be going in
Feb. 2009 (Northern Vermont in the winter?
